The Tarangire National Park famous for its huge number of elephants, baobab trees and tree climbing lions. Visitors to the park can expect to see any number of residential zebras and wildebeests in addition to the less common animals. Other common animals include waterbuck, giraffe, and olive baboons.

Home to more than 550 species, the park is a haven for bird enthusiasts who can expect so see dozens of species even in the dry season. The swamps are the focus of the largest selection of breeding birds anywhere in the world. yellow-collared lovebirds are a common bird sighting in the trees along the Tarangire River.

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is home to Approximately 25,000 large animals, mostly ungulates, live in the crater. Large animals in the crater include the black rhinoceros, the African buffalo or Cape buffalo, and the hippopotamus. There also are many other ungulates: the blue wildebeest, Grant’s zebra, the common eland, and Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelles. The crater has one of the densest known population of Masai lions.

The Serengeti National Park is prominent for its considerable size of lions, this park is located in the north of Tanzania. Many large mammals, including the Big Five, and over several avifauna species and birds, live inside the park. Serengeti National park has the leading number of resident predators: Leopards, Lions, Jackals, Hyenas and Severals. Beautiful birds such as eagles, ostriches, fish eagles and secretary birds reside within the park. Tarangire National Park

Pickup in a private 4×4 vehicle from Kilimanjaro or Arusha & drive to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire boasts large herds of Elephant and provides excellent habitat for Lion, Leopard, Buffalo and many Antelope species unique to East Africa. These include Lesser Kudu, Fringe Eared Oryx and Grants Gazelle. Lake Manyara

After breakfast drive to LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK for a game drive. Highlights of LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK include thousands of pink-hued flamingos on their perpetual migration, the legendary tree-climbing lions and impressively tusked elephants.

DAY 3

Ngorongoro Crater \ Serengeti

After breakfast go for a full day game drive with packed lunch boxes at the NGORONGORO CRATER. Descent into the crater to experience the majestic beauty of caldera. The NGORONGORO CRATER, at 2286m above the sea level, is the largest unbroken caldera in the world. Surrounded by very steep walls rising 610 meters from the crater floor. It is truly a breathtaking natural wonder.

DAY 4

Moru Kopjes (South – Central Serengeti)

Moru Kopjes is home to Serengeti National Park’s only black rhino population. A small herd of the critically endangered animal still resides in the region and is closely monitored by armed anti-poaching rangers. Other animals, such as lions, elephants and leopards, can also be spotted here. And if you’re interested in the park’s ties to the indigenous Maasai community, check out Gong Rock and the region’s famous Maasai rock paintings.

DAY 5:
Seronera River Valley (Central Serengeti)
The valley’s river keeps the vegetation plentiful. Wildebeest, zebras, elephants, giraffes, gazelles and many other species can be spotted here on any given day. The large amount of prey also draws the highest population of predators. The golden grassland rustles with the movement of roaming lions, cheetahs and hyenas. This is also one of the best places to find the park’s elusive leopards. You’re bound to stumble across hippos at the other Serengeti watering holes, but nothing can compare to the spectacle of the Retina Hippo Pool. Situated where the Seronera and Orangi rivers converge, the Retina Hippo Pool consist of a deep puddle of water with roughly 200 sloshing, playing hippos.

DAY 6

Grumeti River (Western Corridor)

Grumeti river is known for its large crocodile population; the crocs anxiously await the migrating herd’s crossing for a guaranteed meaty feast. Other animals you’ll find swimming in the river and drinking from its water include elephants, hippos and monkeys. Bring a boxed lunch to enjoy picnic-style near the river. Catching The Great Migration as it crosses the Grumeti River (July-November) is a must for avid nature lovers, although those with weaker stomachs may want to steer clear.
